Air Conditioning
We know that the only place you want hot and cold air to blow from is your air conditioning system. If your air conditioning breaks-down on a hot day, or your heating on a cold day it can make for an uncomfortable drive and spoil your journey. Servicing your air-conditioning is important so you can be sure of having clean fresh air in your vehicle at all times. Our Air con service includes: Full service ,re-gas and testing of the system Disinfectant treatment of vents Pollen filter change if needed And air bomb to freshen your interior.
Emissions Testing
We have all become more aware about CO2 emissions in recent years especially since fuel efficiency affects vehicle running costs, and the environment. A simple emissions test can tell you how cost efficient your engine is, and help you do your bit to ensure your carbon footprint is acceptable in these days of green awareness. If we find that your car is running inefficiently we can do the repairs and get you zooming away with the benefit of reducing your fuel bills, your carbon footprint and ensuring you meet the NCT DOE standards for emissions.
NCT Checks
NCT tests are required by law, every 2 years on cars that are 4 years and older and annually for vehicles over ten years to make sure that they are roadworthy. We carry-out pre NCT checks on all makes and models of car. When you bring your car in for an pre NCT check we’ll complete the check as quickly as we can, advise you of any repairs required and with your agreement complete the repairs leaving your car ready for its NCT.
DOE Checks
If you drive a van you will be required by law to have an annual DOE check to make sure that it is roadworthy. We carry-out pre DOE checks on all makes and models of van. You can book your van in and we’ll complete the pre DOE check as quickly as we can, advise you of any repairs required and with your agreement complete the repairs and usually have your van ready to collect the same day.
Laser Four Wheel Alignment
Misaligned wheels can result in excessive tyre wear and poor fuel economy both of which increase the running costs of your car. When your four wheels are not properly aligned it is like driving a wayward shopping trolley that seems to have a mind of its own. You may find yourself having to slightly readjust your course all the time to keep driving in a straight line. So, keeping the four wheels of your car balanced and aligned is important for cost and to ensure that you’re fully in charge so you can drive your car safely and with ease and confidence.

You might think that you should only check your antifreeze coming into the winter but did you know it is also a coolant for summer and has an anti-corrosion agent to prevent your engine and engine cooling system from failure due to corrosion. At Blueprint Autos we carry out two tests on your cooling system fluid for freezing point and acidity. If we find any issues we can,with your permission, flush your cooling system and replenish it with new coolant protecting your engine's cooling system and your pocket from any surprising repair bills.
Brake Fluid Change
Insuring your brakes are working safely and efficiently is a must. One of the checks we do when checking your brake system is testing the boiling point of your brake fluid. High moisture content in your fluid can cause internal corrosion of the system which cause premature component failure but more importantly brake fade which can have serious safety implications for you and your passengers.Having your brake fluid changed with us is a small job that could save you money but more importantly your life.
